My Weekend

So, this weekend I was able to see my best friend of 25 years.  She flew in from Washington on Thursday and stayed until Sunday evening.  It was great to see her.  She lives in Seattle, where I am from and we stayed Thursday night in the Fairmont, which was amazing!!  Then Friday, we got up and let the kids go swimming and then had lunch with Rachael.  Then we headed up the mountain and Saturday, spent the day at my mom's, reminiscing. It was wonderful.  Really sad to see her go, but only until June when we go on vacation together.  That's all for now!!

A Moment of Sheer Joy!

He looks so happy!! I love this little man!

Another day in the Gilmore Family

Just going around the house, cleaning up after the kids!! Seems like it is never-ending but totally worth the work.  Tomorrow Amanda (best friend from Washington) flies in and I can't wait to see her.  She is fantastic and I miss her like crazy.  On top of all of that, Toby gets home from Oklahoma Friday night; two weeks is a really long time without him.

A FEW OF MY KIDDOS:

My sweet little boy was out.  Crashed their for several hours.  I got a lot done, but you can't help but peek on them once in a while.  What blessings they are!

Gosh, she is getting so big!  It makes me so sad, she is such an amazing little girl and I can't imagine life without her!

This one is all boy!! He is so much fun and keeps me so busy.  He was so proud of the fact that he "climbed" up the tree (I put him up there).  How can you not love their innocence.

A weekend away!

What a great weekend!!  The kids and I went out to Mom's, since Toby is still in classes in Oklahoma City.  We had so much fun, the kids rode their Grandpa's tractor and Chase spent some time with my mom and me.  It was a lot of fun, on Saturday we went on a drive and saw some really cool waterfalls and some really old man-made bridge.  It was really neat.

My sweet family

This is my little family... our story began in March of 2002 when my wonderful husband came into the picture...

Before this great man came into our lives, it was just me and my sweet baby girl...

Kiley was born in the afternoon (after a long day) on August 6th, 1999.  She was 6 lbs. 6 oz. and 18 3/4 inches long.  She was a blessing beyond anything I could ever have imagined!

When she was two years old, Toby and I began dating.  Kiley and Toby became very close and it was obvious they loved each other.

So, our story began to play out.  Toby and I were married on February 15, 2003...

We were able to go to Ireland to celebrate ...

Toby served his mission here in Ireland, so it was quite the experience...

Speaking of the church... I was baptized in the LDS church by Toby.  What a great experience that was! (No, I wasn't yelling at him!)

After our honeymoon, we began our little family adventure. The three of us moved into our first home together and got a dog.  After about 9 months of marriage, we found out we were pregnant with baby number 2. We were all so excited!  During my pregnancy with our second baby, Toby and I were sealed in the Snowflake, Arizona Temple.  It was such a wonderful and very anticipated day for us...

Finally, on July 31st, 2004 our son was born.  With 2 hours of labor and 7 minutes of pushing, our little Braedon joined us!

He was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long.  He was amazing and such a fabulous addition to our little family.  He brought so much energy and excitement into our family.  He has definitely kept us busy.
During this time, we bought our first home and after Braedon turned 3 months, Toby joined the Police Academy.  He became a sworn officer for Show Low Police Department in March of '05...

After Braedon turned one and Kiley started first grade, I went back to school.  In May of '07 I graduated from NAU and received my Bachelor's Degree in education...

I then started teaching first grade. After our 5th anniversary, we found out we were going to have our third baby!
On Monday morning we had another baby boy, Chase Jared...

He weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 21 inches long.  He is such a sweet boy and has brought so much joy to our lives.  Since then, our sweet Kiley, the beginning part of this journey, was baptized in the LDS church.  That puts you up to date with the current status of the "Gilmore Clan."
